consultant
for 35
years
until he

disabled

After 18
months of
biweekly,
day-long
drug
infusions,
he
discovered
hypnosis
and used
it to
command
his body
to heal
itself.
His pain
and
numbness
quickly
stopped,
so he
discarded
all
medications
and vowed
to help
others
transform
their own
health
issues
using
hypnosis.
“Our
sub-conscious
mind is
running
our body,”
he says.
“We just
need to
give it
explicit
instructions
about what
we want.” Although mind-training, sometimes called hypnosis, has been used to promote healing for centuries, only recently has it come to take a significant role in American medical care.
